Hi, I’m Suzanne Hood, a registered Physiotherapist based in Vancouver, BC, with a passion for helping people move better and feel stronger. I hold a BA in Psychology from UBC and a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario.

I began my career at a sports medicine clinic in Calgary, where I completed my Orthopedic Manual Therapy Levels. Since then, I’ve pursued advanced training in manual therapy, TMJ treatment, acupuncture (CAFCI), and Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS). My clinical focus includes running injuries, spinal rehab, TMJ dysfunction, and pre/postnatal care.

My treatment approach blends hands-on therapy, IMS and acupuncture, gait assessment, and active rehab programs. I believe in empowering clients to take an active role in their recovery and long-term wellness.

I work with athletes of all levels and am currently completing my UESCA Running and Ultrarunning Coaching Certifications. I also use OnForm video analysis for running gait assessments.

Outside the clinic, I’m an outdoor enthusiast—skiing (CSIA Level 1), trail running, biking, and hiking across the Pacific Northwest. I’m involved with Trail Whisperer Running Clinics and regularly race in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.
